Her in-laws and I booked Alexis’s home for 5 weeks to be there when she gave birth to our first grandchild…and for the gender reveal.
(It’s a GIRL!)

Alexis was one of the most responsive Airbnb hosts I have encountered. If we found we needed anything, or something needed repaired, she was right on it. She even contacted wildlife management when we spotted a flying squirrel next and were concerned that there could be orphaned babies. And one day, after she met my daughter, son-in-law and baby Maya, she stopped by with a gift of the cutest little outfits for the baby. <3

Let me repeat…if you are contemplating this home for your stay…contemplate no more. Just book it. 🙂

The only minor downside is that it is close to a train line, which can be quite noisy, but is only 3-4 times a day and only for a couple of minutes at a park time.

A sweet... read more little house with very comfortable beds, sofas and nicely chosen decor. The showers are lovely and hot with plenty of water pressure. The backyard is fantastic for kids and furry friends. Birdsong greets you in the morning and owls hoot you to sleep. Idyllic!

We enjoyed a lovely couple of weeks here, and Alexis was great at keeping in touch and replying to any queries or messages that we had. A great host!

Only used the main floor during our stay but we checked out the upstairs and it kind of feels like the house is... read more slanted a little, the doors wouldn’t stay open. Not sure if I’d be comfortable sleeping up there. Restrooms are small. Comfortable pillows & bed. Garage is not available for parking and drive way is very narrow. There is a stop sign out front but not too much traffic. Quiet neighborhood, lots of mature trees. Alexis allowed us to check in early and later said she “didn’t charge us” so be mindful of the fact there’s an early check-in fee that is not disclosed. She was quick to respond when I did have questions, though. We would not book again but overall an ok place for a short stay.

This home is the perfect layout for business travelers. The large dinning table lowed for 5 employees each with multiple monitors to set up and... read more collectively work together. The oversized sofa was also a big hit with my crew as we were all able to sit together to have "round table" discussion or watch a movie. For me the best part was not one but two pavilions outdoors that are absolutely beautiful & the perfect place for coffee/wine time.
